Mangalore, Dec 2:
Three freestyle football players—Peter Kovas from Hungary, Nori from Japan, and Gomez from Spain—performed in the city as part of the promotion of the ‘Freestyle Friendzy Football Extravaganza’ to be held in Kolkata on Friday December 18.

Displaying their skills in the city on Tuesday December 1, the players held the audience spell-bound with their breath-taking performances. They balanced the football on their body adroitly and showed their talent in experimenting with the ball.

These three players will participate in the event as judges and also in the selection rounds in 21 cities in India. The selection of players from various cities started on November 27.

In total, six foreign players are involved in the selection of freestylers and will also interact with the contestants.

The trio has finalized three players from Mangalore and their performances will be posted on the contest website.  On the basis of votes, one will be chosen for the finale to be held in Kolkata.

The winners will get tickets to foreign countries along with attractive prizes. The first prize winner will fly to London, the second to Bangkok, and the third to Nepal.

McDowells Celebration is presenting the freestyle football extravaganza and the launch of India’s first training video on freestyle on the anvil in an effort to promote the game in the country and encourage amateur Indian freestylers.
