Panaji, Apr 4 (IANS): Health authorities in Goa on Saturday issued a public appeal, urging people who travelled by two Air India flights, which landed in Goa on March 22 and March 19, respectively, to quarantine themselves, because two Covid-19 positive patients from Goa had travelled by the two flights.
While a Covid-19 patient who tested positive on Saturday, a sailor, had returned to Goa from San Francisco via Delhi, another patient who was sent to an isolation facility on Friday had travelled from South Africa to Kenya and then on to Mumbai and Goa.
"Kindly isolate (home quarantine) and report to helpline 104 or call 0832-2421810 or 2225538 or report to nearest government health facility," the Goa Health Department's public appeal said.
Goa currently has seven Covid-19 positive patients.
