Explaining about various features of the website, superintendent of police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwar Rao said that the features such as the information on police stations, officers and also the daily crime incidents registered in various police stations in district will help public. The department has been using latest technologies to reach the public and detect the crime. The step is to ensure the public that the police are performing their duty professionally and more scientific manner, he said.
Dr Rao also informed that the department has launched Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) which will enable the public across the district register complaints by dialing 0824-2424204. Thereafter a complaint number too will be provided. A call made to register a complaint will automatically disconnect in a minute.
