Mumbai, Apr 10 (IANS): The management of Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital has decided to reward its ‘medical warriors' currently engaged in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic at various locations, with extra salary, besides other benefits, an official said here on Friday.
All employees actively helping would be given an additional one-month CTC, while the frontline staff deployed at Seven Hills Hospital, ER and two isolation rooms will get an additional payout besides the extra salary, said the HNRFH Hospital CEO Dr Tarang Gianchandani.
The hospital will also distribute grocery bags to its staff who are not in the hostel, through the HR and Corporate admin teams, besides continuing the free bus service to all employees commuting to the HNRFH along with water, biscuits and masks en route and free meals to all staff during this crisis.
The HNRFH - supported by RIL and chaired by Nita M. Ambani - has decided to waive all affiliation charges from all medical and surgical Visiting Consultants from March 15 onwards.
The hospital said it will also take full care of all medical expenses in case any staffer or their family members are infected by Covid-19.
It has also ensured adequate and best available personal protective equipment (PPE) for the frontline warriors at all locations where they are working with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 cases, said Gianchandani.
