Pradeep Barboza's Konkani Comedy to Entertain Moodbidri, Kirem Locals

Moodbidri, Dec 13: Dubai-based Konkani’s young playwright, director and actor Pradeep Barboza's recent hit Konkani play 'Sangon Mugdana' is all set to be staged in his hometown here and also in Kirem.
Udentichim Neketram Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association, Dubai and St Vincent Paul Moodbidri regional unit, jointly present the hilarious Konkani comedy “Sangon Mugdana” (Never ending tales) to the theatre lovers of Moodbidri Varado at Alangar Church open ground on December 26 at 6.00 pm and St Vincent Paul Kinnigoly regional unit with the help of other associations of Kinnigoly Varado presents the play at Kirem Church open grounds on December 27 at 6.00 pm to the theatre lovers of Kinnigloy Varado.
The play has already been a hit and successfully presented in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Except couple of changes, almost all the actors of the original cast will perform at the shows too. In a very special role, Paladka's award winning teacher Andrew D'Souza will entertain the audience with his acting skills.
"This is a special encouragement for youmg writers like me. The support for Konkani plays these days are very limited, yet good encouragement like this from parishes and organisations will keep Konkani plays alive forever", said Pradeep Paldaka speaking to daijiworld.com from Dubai.
Cyril Baptist will provide music for the play. Well known entrepreneur and community activist Lawrence D'Souza of Al Raien Metalic Ind LLC, along with Richard Rodrigues and family from Hospet Dubai have supported this event as sponsors.
