Mangalore, Dec 20: Education alone will not aid the overall development of a person. For a person to be completely successful in life along with education inculcating right values and culture are also prime, said Balagangadharanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Mutt.

He was speaking at the valedictory ceremony of the decennial annual day celebrations of BGS Education Centre, Kavoor here on Saturday December 20. Dharmastala dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade’s contribution towards attaining a society based on values and culture has been immense. The successfully conduct of World Tulu Convention at Ujire, recently is an example in this regard, seer added.


Presiding over the ceremony, Heggade said that education institutions need to be inculcated with values along with education. Education institutions should also emphasize on teaching moral values, he said. 





























Lokayukta Justice N Santhosh Hegde was the chief guest. He said that students are the torch bearers of the future. It is students who need to bring in positive change in the society by broadening their view for social development rather than personal progress, he said.

Seer of local branch of the math, Dharmapalanatha Swamiji, MPs D V Sadananda Gowda and Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA N Yogish Bhat, MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Coastal Development Authority chairman B Nagaraj Shetty and Mangalore University registrar Chinnappa Gowda among others were present.

    See how these manuvadis are projecting themselves of incarnation of God. Are they above any other human being? The manuvadis still believe in caste system and exploitation of shudras/dalits, i.e. non brahmins. Unless and until, there is no equality and abolition of caste system, our social values wont change. Are these manvadis prepared to shower flowers to a dalit priest/educated dalit? Are they prepared to do the tulapooja to a dalit/shudra? Certainly not. Wake up Dalits, shudras, vaishyas and kshatriyas. Even in 21st century such expolitation?????? Just blind fold and manuvadis still want to remain on top of social ladder. The most unfortunate part is most of Hindus dont realise their plan and continue to support them in the name of religion.

    Education without moral values can be very dangerous, and that person has to be feared more than a street rowdy with a bomb. The worldwide recession is the end result of highly educated people possessed with ruthless greed manipulated everything for their personal gains. When educated peoiple lack character and morality, they will be far worse than any wild animals.

    Very true, it could not be put in better words, good values and right values along with education makes a successful and good human bieng. Values does not mean breaking Mosques and Churches, spreading hatred among the people of various communities and disturbing peace for the sake of vote bank.
