Mangaluru: Karavali Group of Colleges donates Rs 6 lac to COVID-19 relief fund

Mangaluru, Apr 22: In support of the effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the prestigious Karavali Group of Colleges in Mangaluru managed by G R Education Trust has donated Rs 6 lac to the relief fund.

Karavali College has donated a sum of Rs 4 lac to PM-CARES Fund and Rs 2 lac towards Karnataka Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The founder-chairman of G R Education Trust, S Ganesh Rao and his employees have wholeheartedly offered support to the central and state governments which are striving to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the country.

Apart from this, Karavali Group of Colleges has rendered services by providing food kits containing rice, sugar, tea powder, red chilly, onion, pulses and wheat worth more than Rs 10 lac to the underprivileged families at Karavali Institute of Technology at Neermarga, Karavali College of Pharmacy at Vamanjoor, Kavoor, Kottara, Kadri and Thokkottu.

For the past 24 years, Karavali College has been in the forefront, not only in the educational arena but also in providing financial assistance as well as basic amenities during Kargil war, earthquakes, floods and drought.
