Mumbai, Apr 27: After the government imposed lockdown to contain the coronavirus, stray birds and animals have been having a tough time to feed themselves.

Animals and birds in the cities would be mostly dependent on feeders or wastes but due to the lockdown, it had been hard for them to find food. Meanwhile, very few have been engaged in providing food in the present situation wherein the number of birds and animals outnumbers to a great extent.

International Institute Training Centre founder president and current director Reena V Urwal, daughter in law of Beltangady based S K Urwal and Prafulla S K Urwal, taking note of the situation has been feeding food and milk to stray dogs in various parts of the city. Her husband Vikranth Urval has been extending his helping hand towards this noble act.

Apart from feeding the stray dogs, they've been feeding a multitude of birds with pulses and grains in several parts of the city.

She could be seen carrying the food loaded in her car every day.
