Due to aggravating COVID – 19 pandemic situation in our country it seems very difficult to conduct NEET (UG) exam 2020 centrally for Fifteen Lakh Twenty Thousand students.

Coming 3 – 4 months intensity of the disease will be different in different state/ union territory that is why planning to centrally start an exam in this year is risky because social distancing is not possible for the students/guardian.
In the city of Wuhan there was outbreak of COVID – 19 / lockdown which took place for about 4 months and even after ending the lockdown, there were no plans for gatherings in this situation.

NTA’s exam centres are all located in city or urban area. To reach the city or urban areas, students have to travel 100 – 200 km by train or bus. Social distancing is not possible to be maintained in this exam.

It seems very difficult to conduct NEET centrally. Central govt. give instruction to States to take their own Medical entrance examinations for this year 2020 to fill all medical seats of all medical colleges of State. Medical College. They can do their question paper according their method of teaching for board exam.
