New Delhi, May 1 (IANS): Another red zone in Delhi's east district has been 'de-contained' on Friday, taking the total count of de-contained zones to five in the city.
"Four weeks after being sealed under Operation SHIELD, Mayurdhwaj Apartment in east Delhi is being de-contained. No new cases found. Congratulations to the health team and all residents," Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
The Mayurdhwaj Apartments in I.P. Extension in Patparganj was sealed on April 3.
This is the third red zone from east Delhi which has been de-contained, with first two being Vardhaman Apartments and Mansara Apartments.
In the south-west district, containment operations at a Shahjahanabad society Sector 11 in Dwarka have also been scaled down.
In south-east district, a red zone in East of Kailash was also de-conatined on Thursday.
So far five red zones have been de-contained while 95 zones are still "active".
