Domestic flights may resume operations in a few days

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 13: Sources said that domestic passenger flights are likely to take off before May 17. They said that the first aircraft might become airborne in two to three days’ time. The union government is likely to announce its final decision shortly. The union ministry of civil aviation has already prepared a detailed standard operating procedure towards this end.

Only healthy people can take the flights. Each row will be occupied by a single passenger with a row on the back being left vacant. Reporting time is likely to be extended to two hours and passengers can enter airports not earlier than six hours before departure time. Each passenger can carry one baggage weighing not more than 20 kg, and no cabin baggage would be allowed.

Those who have been denied travel because of high fever and people aged over 80 will be stopped from boarding. They can change the date of travel without paying fine. Passengers having green status in Arogya Setu Setu app can alone board the aircrafts. Catering service is likely to be taken off in case of flights of less than two hours duration. Even in flights where food is served, only limited kind of foods would be provided. Passengers have to do web check-in from homes. Those who have undergone quarantine have to furnish details thereof. Passengers suspected of infection will be allotted separate seating. Boarding will be done an hour before departure.

Initially the flights will begin with less capacity and connect only major cities. The central government has asked the concerned to strictly follow all the guidelines in the interests of the passenger safety and crew.

Step by step government functioning looking welfare of people much.
America ignored totally people's welfare and dash them towards death.
World knows once America use to give more importance to citizen's life..but failed totally. In this respect India taken much care of it's citizens with less casualty..inspite of lot of opposition around. Next sunday at six p.m in the evening we should stand ovation to Shri Narendrabhai Modiji by clapping in our balcony.

Trump killed people ignoring specialists advice during easter. He is only interested in selling weapons(resting wars) and making money.

Modiji wants people to live; make money through primary(agri n resources) & High tech, infra and education. No shortcuts.

When usa had 70k cases they only had 1000deaths..with same number of cases now ,we alrdy have around 2500 death. With all these relaxations made by government, Where do you think we are headed to? Why can't we learn from experience of other countries? Why do we have to go thru ourselves to learn a lesson?

Sir, it's easy for you to say as you might be one of the very few lucky ones who can afford to stay indoors without worrying about anything and can fend for yourself.

But kindly note vast majority of people aren't so lucky and will need to work to feed themselves and their families.

Even though continued lockdown seem to be the logical choice how long do you expect people can afford so? Everyone has been made aware of the implications of this virus now.

Thing to do now is to start letting people carry on with their lives albeit with many additional restrictions and precautions. This virus is there to stay with us for a long time and we have to learn to live with it. Fact!

Ok sorry to break this to you, America had less than 1000 deaths during the first 1 lac infections. We at 74k cases already have 2500 deaths. Modi just like Trump is taking us in the same direction instead of tackling the problem. Sadly, mortality is going to be thrice as high as America, if this relaxation continues. And you are bragging about what?
