Udupi: DC Jagadeesha warns people in quarantine against venturing out

Udupi, May 18: About 6,000 people who have arrived in the district from various states and countries have been quarantined.

All of them have been accommodated in different hostels and hotels. But there have of late been complaints about some of these people roaming around by going out of the quarantine facility in violation of rules. Deputy commissioner of the district G Jagadeesha, has warned that cases would be registered against such violators under section 188.

He said that the district administration has welcomed these people and arranged for their stay in quarantine as per rules. Therefore, he warned them against escaping from quarantine and moving out.

    i think that's the reason they are doing this . they want to go back .. because in Dubai and other middle east quarantine specialty are like luxury hotel

    Dubai may short of Hospital beds, in sometime. Even Corona patients without symptoms are told to stay in home.

    Rooms, Beds, Ventilators, ICUs, Doctors, Nurses & everything will running short, if Corona virus spreads at same rate in Dubai.

    Going to Dubai now, is like total risk, Unless you have written big insurance in your family's name

    Allowing inter state traffic was such a lifetime mistake...
    Unless we lockdown all corona suspects and corona patients at one separate place, others cannot live happily ..

    Instead of lockdown entire county, start locking down corona suspects and corona patients soon.. major policy change required country wide..
