New Delhi, May 18: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday released a complete date sheet for the remaining board exams for Class 10 and 12. The Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal made the respective announcement on his official Twitter handle. "Dear students of class 12th of CBSE Board here is the date sheet for your board exams. All the best," Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted.

The Class 10 and 12th board exams will be conducted for the remaining 29 papers from July 1 to July 15 at various centres.

CBSE suggested that parents must ensure their ward is not sick and that the candidates are following social distancing.

The CBSE exams for Class 10 are pending only in North East Delhi. "The Class 10 exams will be staggered on four dates, starting July 1. The first paper will be of Social Sciences, while the next day students will be required to appear for Science exam," PTI quoted Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examination. On July 10, exams will be conducted for both courses of Hindi and on July 15 for both courses of English.

The Class 12 date sheet will have the Home Science exam on July 1, followed by both courses of Hindi the next day. The exam for Business Studies has been scheduled on July 9, followed by Biotechnology on July 10, and Geography on July 11.

The CBSE date sheet 2020 is available on the official site of CBSE at cbse.nic.in.

The announcements concerning the complete date sheet for the remaining CBSE exams of Class 10, 12 were supposed to take place on May 16. However, the date was postponed as the CBSE was taking into consideration some additional technical aspects.

"CBSE is taking into consideration some additional technical aspects before finalising the date sheet of board exams. Due to this, the date sheet of Class 10th and 12th examination to be released today at 5 pm will be announced by Monday (18-05-2020)," Pokhriyal had tweeted in Hindi.

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic has surfaced in the country, universities and schools in India have been closed and exams postponed. The countrywide classroom shutdown by the Centre has been in force since March 16.
