Mangaluru: SJEC, SSWRN distribute food kits to street vendors

Mangaluru, May 18: As part of COVID-19 relief activities, St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) on May 15 distributed 10 kg of rice and School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya (SSWRN) gave away groceries to 140 registered street vendors in the city at School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, here.

The event was facilitated by the Centre for Development Studies and Education (CEDSE).

The members of the management of SJEC and SSWRN were present along with the representatives from CEDSE and the office bearers of street vendors association during this meaningful event which not only highlighted the valuable contribution of street vendors, but also upheld their dignity as human beings.
