Jammu, May 19 (IANS): Another 28 people tested positive on Tuesday taking the number of COVID-19 patients in Jammu & Kashmir to 1,317.
A statement issued by the information and public relations department said 28 more people tested positive, 6 from Jammu division and 22 from Kashmir division.
So far, 17 people have died and 647 have recovered completely.
The number of positive cases in J&K is now 653 out of whom 102 are in Jammu division and 551 are in Kashmir division.
According to the new classification announced, eight districts of Kashmir division including Srinagar, Baramulla, Kupwara, Badgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag have been categorised as red zones while Ganderbal and Bandipora have been categorised as orange zones.
In the Jammu division, Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch and Rajouri have been categorised as green zones while Kathua, Samba and Ramban are red zones and Reasi, Udhampur and Jammu districts have been classified as orange zones.
