Modi remembers Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary

New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary.

Modi tweeted: "On his death anniversary, tributes to former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi."

Gandhi was assassinated on this day in 1991 during a late night election rally in Sriperumbudur village of Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu ahead of the Lok Sabha polls when a suicide bomber struck.

He was the youngest Prime Minister, who took oath at 40, following the assassination of mother and another former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Rajiv was a leader with vision and he delivered what he promised. He was a dignified leader who brought laurels to the country with his statesmanship and work unlike fake promises and lies made by Modi

Today sad to say performance never counts only lies and fake promises and people blindly follow such promises and lies. if they are asked to clap and clang people clap and clang; if they call to light candle, people do so which resulted in nothing Only fools fool fools and it will be there until fools are there to fool

Modi used Rajiv's name second time during Election campaign to get votes by telling a lie. Firstly , he used his name in saying during Rajiv's tenure also corruption was there. Everyone knows his double standards well

We need to thank Rajiv Gandhi for his foresight in giving thrust to computers and communication technology. First ATM was opened during his tenure. He went on to make Super Computer when there was sanctions against India and was successful. Then opposition parties opposed his idea of Computers but his foresight proved right and today we are competing with world of our capabilities.

Today I was watching one of his old speech on Electronic and Industrial Revolution in India. He was so gentle, with no shouting or actions what other politicians do. His talk was completely non political and precise to the point.

    We miss him.

After remembering Rajiv Gandhi's Grandfather Jawahar Lal Nehru so fondly for the last six years during election time, Modi is showing Great Statesmanship in rememberung Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary after having crudely indulged in slander against him during election time of falsely accusing Rajiv Gandhi of using the Naval Aircraft Carrier as a Taxi to go the the Lakshwadeep Islands.

No one is getting amused with his double standards these days except to show sheercontempt for his cheap ways.

Rajiv Gandhi is an election trump card and defaming him wins elections. Then why praise now. That way people also praise Hitler as a great nationalist or Romans hail Nero for burning Rome.

May be immortal. But not inheritance of a immortal surname for electoral gains. The days of riding on a fancy surname is long gone. Performance and accomplishments with admin experience is the key. If not people boot you out even if its one own home constituency or a bastion.

Now no surname, only preach and polarize community. No need performance. Even you sell India, community will clap and say great job.

Over 30 years of administration experience, this government is selling public companies. Economy is in worst condition, unemployment is lowest in history, that what accomplishment you mean ?
And unorganised lockdown, wrong GST, unpractical notebandi, this what you calling performance ?

Perhaps today "Performance and accomplishments" mere words in Dictionary or a Joke, Rather now key to success is Sell something is developed by someone and Simply announce Package .
Package ke upar Package and every one Ji Ji Ji only, Package me kuch bhi nahi poora khali, Performance & accomplishments ko maro Goli, Phir bhi nahi hua public ko Apaas me Ladhalo, Sab bool jathe hai. Uske baad bhi Ji Ji Ji Jai Jai bhi bolenge.

The history and the evolution of this 'Gandhi' surname is not a secret anymore. The biggest hurdle is the ones who have inherited do not have the papers to prove this.
