Ayodhya temple trust confirms recovery of idols from site

Ayodhya, May 21 (IANS): The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which has been set up to oversee the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, has tweeted that several broken statues of Hindu gods and goddesses have been found at the temple site where levelling operations are underway.

"During the excavation, a 5-ft Shivling, pillars and broken idols of have also been discovered," the tweet said.

Trust General Secretary Champat Rai said the recovery further established the fact that temple existed at the site.

Meanwhile, the ground at the temple site is being levelled by tractors and JCB machines. The work began after the state and Central government relaxed lockdown rules and allowed the construction activity.

Rai said that once levelling of the site is completed, the work of soil testing will begin.

But was there a Ram temple right under the Babri masjid structure????. Any symbols, idols and any temple anywhere near the vicinity of Babri masjid is invalid reason for demolition of mosque?????.... The reason for demolition of mosque was it was built on top of Ram temple. If not BJP should leave the Babri masjid as it is.

You go thru Apex court judgement of 9th Nov 2019.it clearly says there was a HINDU TEMPLE so the land belongs to Hindus. And accordingly the land was alloted to RTN
The land has not been alloted to BJP as you say BJP should leave the masjid. It has been clearly said by Apex court that no political party was involved as party to the case. We know ppl like u who r frustrated by the overwhelming support BJP got or the whole world is praising MODI and his Govt in fighting Covid
