Mangalore, Jan 23: Opposition leader in legislative assembly S Siddaramaiah predicted state government’s fall if energy minister K S Eshwarappa is made the BJP state president.

Addressing presspersons at district Congress office in the city on Saturday January 23, Siddu dubbed power ministry as the most corrupt and alleged that a corrupt man like Eshwarappa was responsible for the outcome. The irregularities undertaken by Eshwarappa will continue during his regime as the BJP chief and thus pervade into the party too resulting in its down fall, he alleged predicting BJP’s defeat in Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) elections.    

Siddaramaiah clarifying Congress party’s stand on BMIC project said that it is not oppose to the project, but condemns forcible acquisition of farmers’ lands. Dubbing Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa as incompetent and anti-people, Siddu said that the farmers problems for the first time in the state as reached its peak. Siddu added that the money and muscle power of Reddy brothers have opened the eyes of the people of the state on who’s running the show.

    BJP is losing all over India. In Karnataka it will be wiped out if all secular minded groups join together. I call upon all my Hindu brothers to defeat BJP and bring a Secular Govt which will be good for all the people. Let us be more matured and broadminded. Mr. Siddu is right and we hope good for our beloved state. Long live Secular India.

    Poor Siddhrama! Fully desperete. Congress lost assembly elections, Lok Sabha, assembly by polls, council, set to loose BBMP, fighting within the party being in opposition, loosing roots in old Mysore region and lot more. His party president is a looser in assembly election. Siddharamiah himself fought with his party leader Mahadev Prasad during a public meeting in Mysore. What more than this comment he can do?

    Its true that people are utterly disgusted with BJP rule in the state. But to assume, those votes automatically come to congress or JD(s) is foolishness. They need to earn back the respect with their hard work, dedication and being in touch with people. For now people are not seeing any of it from state congress.

    Whatever Mr. Siddaramainh says, he has still not made a mark in congress. He is still considered as an outsider. how can you expect leaders like moily,poojary,kharge, etc etc listening to sidaramiah. if congress does not get majoriy in the next election, the leaders will definetly blame siddaramaih.

    I do not know much about Eshwarappa.But one thing I want to say that the mess of erratic power supply are all due to useless plans of earlier govts.Thermal plants in Raichur are always not functioning 365days to the full capacity..Shut downs are order of the day there.Power from central pool to this state is meagre.Hydra are depend on monsoon.Siddu knows all these Still he is criticising for the sake of critisizing.

    Eshwarappa, Yeddiyurappa,both are proven failures in their respective fields, After former became power minister Karnataka experienced acute power failure, so as Yeddy has no power at all as chief minister, he is remote controlled by Reddys.

    Mr Shetty,win & defeat are the two faces democracy.Those are not all defeated as you said excepet Mr Ivan D souza.coming to the issue raised by Opposition Leader, Mr Siddhu,there may some truth in it.Under the stewardship of power(less) minister Mr Ishwarappa,having filled all dams in Karnataka,power cut,load shedding are daily happening in all over Karnataka.My impression is that he is totally failed as power minister.As a BJP leader,his image is not good as for a BJP state president.JAI-HO-KARNATAKA
