Mangalore: Eshwarappa’s Reign to Prove Death Knell for BJP - Siddu

Mangalore, Jan 23: Opposition leader in legislative assembly S Siddaramaiah predicted state government’s fall if energy minister K S Eshwarappa is made the BJP state president.
Addressing presspersons at district Congress office in the city on Saturday January 23, Siddu dubbed power ministry as the most corrupt and alleged that a corrupt man like Eshwarappa was responsible for the outcome. The irregularities undertaken by Eshwarappa will continue during his regime as the BJP chief and thus pervade into the party too resulting in its down fall, he alleged predicting BJP’s defeat in Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) elections.
Siddaramaiah clarifying Congress party’s stand on BMIC project said that it is not oppose to the project, but condemns forcible acquisition of farmers’ lands. Dubbing Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa as incompetent and anti-people, Siddu said that the farmers problems for the first time in the state as reached its peak. Siddu added that the money and muscle power of Reddy brothers have opened the eyes of the people of the state on who’s running the show.
