KMWA Kuwait Elects New Office Bearers for 2010-2011

Kuwait: Jan 24:  Karnataka Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA) Kuwait members organized a general body meeting on Friday 22/01/10 evening at Masjid Al-Sanad Hall in Abraq Khaitan to elect new office bearers for the term 2010-2011. The newly elected President of KMWA Hasan Yusuf, former president of KMWA B.S. Sharafuddin, the electoral supervisors from Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Ainul Huda, Jafar Jamal and Mohammed Swaleh were present at the dais. The following persons were elected as new office bearers and Executive Committee members for the term of 2 years 2010-2011. 









OFFICE BEARERS:

1)     Syed Aejaz Hussain (Gulbarga) – General Secretary

2)     Abdul Rahiman Sharief (Mysore) – Treasurer

3)     Shahul Hameed (Mangalore) – Public Relations and  Press & Publicity In-charge 

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS

1)     B.S. Sharafuddin ( Mangalore)

2)     Mohammed Salar (Gulbarga)

3)     Hameed Kuliyar (Mangalore)

4)     Himayun Pasha (Bangalore)

5)     Qutubuddin Kazim Qureishi ( Gulbarga) 

KMWA has members from all over Karnataka , India . It is striving for the cause of supporting social welfare activities and promoting harmonious relationship among various religious and cultural groups of Karnataka. During the general body meeting the members from different parts of Karnataka expressed their views and gave several suggestions for socio-economic welfare of the community. 

IMA Central Committee member Ainul Huda congratulated the newly elected office bearers and reminded them of the need to work hard for community-oriented activities   B.S. Sharafuddin compared the program. The Program started with recitation of Quran by Faheemddin Shareef Mangalore concluded with the dua by Mohammed Hafeez Qasmi, Mangalore.
