Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter's message to graduating students of 'Bill & Ted' school

Los Angeles, June 4 (IANS): Actors Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter delivered a message to graduating seniors of high school their characters attended in "Bill & Ted" movies.

Their characters had attended San Dimas High in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure", and the 1989 hit movie's stars Keanu and Alex honored it by delivering a message to graduating seniors of the school, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"We know that it's a tough time right now and you're having to do this virtual graduation,' began Alex.

"We want to wish you the best of luck moving forward."

Keanu wore a T-shirt that read, 'Be Excellent to Each Other,' a line from the sci-fi film series.

He told the students: "Congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done."

Added Alex: "San Dimas High School football does rule. But most importantly, we wanted to tell you to be excellent to each other."

"And party on!" Keanu concluded the message with another reference to the film.

The first film in the comedy franchise followed Bill (Alex) and Ted (Keanu) who travel through time to assemble historical figures for their high school history presentation.

The duo also starred in "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" in 1991.

A third film, "Bill & Ted Face the Music", is scheduled to be released later in 2020.
