Bangalore: BJP Core Committee Considers Issues Including Commission’s Report

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Feb 2: After the B K Somashekhara Commission of Inquiry probing the church attacks in the state submitted its interim report at Mangalore on Monday February 1, the core committee of the state BJP met suddenly on the night of Monday and held serious discussions on the report and other issues.

Some of the leaders are learnt to have expressed surprise at the way the Commission chose to hand over its report to the government. The interim report was handed over in Mangalore instead of Bangalore. Normally, the commissions of inquiry appointed for probing allegations and incidents, submit their reports either to the Chief Minister or the home minister. The fact that Justice Somashekhara handed over the report to the secretary of the home department and released the synopsis of the findings to the media in Mangalore, were the reasons for the surprise expressed by the leaders.

The Sangh Parivar leaders are learnt to have expressed strong resentment at the findings recorded in the report, which have put the blame squarely on Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishat, and Sri Rama Sene. Discussions will continue on the steps the state government will have to initiate, in tune with the recommendations contained in the report.

There were suggestions that efforts should be made to appease Deve Gowda by meeting at least a few of the 11 demands put forth by him as regards Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises imbroglio.  State advocate general, Ashok Harnahalli, was invited to the meeting, where he was told to give legal opinion to the government on this issue.

There is no surprise the commission report was handed over to Mangalore. For what reason it should go to CM and HM, if it hand over to them straight it will go to the dust bin instead of made to public. For everything there is justice, truth will not fall. HM is surpirsing why it is published without their consent, here you can easily identify whose fault it is. Well done Justice Somashekara, still waiting for the final result to punish the satans and culprits of BD, SRS, VHP.
