Srinagar, June 7 (IANS): With the killing of one more terrorist, the number of terrorists killed in the ongoing encounter on Sunday at Reban in South Kashmir's Shopian district has gone up to four now, officials said.
According to details, security forces had a specific input about the presence of terrorists in that area.
A cordon was laid at Reban village by a joint team of the army and police on Sunday morning.
As the security forces zeroed in on the spot where the terrorists were hiding, they came under fire that triggered the encounter.
The identification of the slain terrorists is still being ascertained.
