First flight from Kuwait to Karnataka under Vande Bharat Mission on Jun 16 cancelled

Kuwait, Jun 8: As per the latest information from Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the flight from Kuwait to Bengaluru on June 16 has been temporarily cancelled for technical reasons.

The flight was on the additional flight 2nd phase schedule on June 16 under Vande Bharath Mission. The reason for the cancellation remains undisclosed.

Kuwait Kannadigas were looking forward to the flight as flights from Qatar, UAE and Oman airlifted people back home to Karnataka under the central government's Vande Bharat Mission. Kannadigas in Kuwait, were waiting for their turn to fly home.

Now, with the cancellation of the flight, the return of the expats to their homes is further delayed.

Also, another flight from Kuwait to Hyderabad on the same day has been cancelled due to technical reasons.

    No proper planning. Just because other countries, including Pakistan, started to bring people back to their home countries, our PM too announced loudly. People had to pay for their own ticket, lodging for covid 19, etc.

    What is the role of the government???? All governments should see that their people are happy with their action and coordination.

    I recommend all should start with Our Maan ki baat and send it to PM. He should listen to our baat also.

    Why was the scheduled flight from kuwait to bangalore on 16th June cancelled? What is technical reasons?! We are stranded here waiting with hope to return to our state! How is that so many flights to kerala but not even 1 to Karnataka!
    Elected reps of Karnataka please arrange 1 or 2 flights for kanadigas to return from kuwait please.

    Our Govt after 6 years is still in Experimental Jumbla Mode
    Failed to run the trains as schedules for migrants
    Failed to provide bus service to people to reach their homes
    Failed in many medical schemes and never talk of Ayushman scheme to provide help for poor during covid
    Failed to feed the homeless and asked associations to feed with utter shameless
    Failed to hear the cry of little kids walking along the streets for kilometers
    Finally Failed to provide proper flights as scheduled even after paying double the money
    Total Fail ,Break fail govt

    Let the govt accept Failure as they are incapable and not fit to handle any disaster management...
    Simple reason mangalore is ignored....NO PROPER QUARANTINE FACILITY SO NO FLIGHTS TO MANGALORE....
    Our elected MP and MLA busy in making road works from specified 10inch to 4 inch ..Rest you can understand.
    People elected govt not to sit idle and see the crisis and blame others ,Better get on roads and tackle the situation

    Vande Bharath... An Inspiring name, but Expats paying double for tickets this time. Not like past evacuations from Kuwait. Prior to the war with Iraq, Over a period of 59 days, from August 13 to October 11, 1990, 176,000 citizens were airlifted.

    May be Kerala Loby diverted the flight. Karnataka people in Kuwait don't have any influence on Kuwait embassy and Karnataka govt. Is not worried about their own people. Better the associations should charter
    Flight to send the people back.
