Raj MLA draws flak for entry into Ranthambore National Park

Jaipur, Jun 8 (IANS):Rajsamand MP and former Sawai Madhopur MLA, Diya Kumari, said on Monday that Sawai Madhopur MLA, Danish Abrar, should not beat around the bush with the issue of his prohibited entry into the Ranthambore National Park, flouting all lockdown norms, and in fact should come out with a clear reply.

The MP said, "I normally don't make personal remarks but I will always raise my voice against untruth. You have made a mockery of the guidelines of prohibited entry and lockdown into the National Park."

In a video going viral, Abrar can be seen not wearing a mask and not even maintaining social distancing norms.

However, Abrar said that he did not enter the tiger reserve, but went to the park after receiving a complaint of corruption in construction of a protection wall, saying, "I went for inspection after informing the DFO, Mukesk Saini."

Meanwhile, the MP said that she has always been against corruption. "The government is yours, the police are yours, take strong action against those who are promoting corruption. But stop the law breaking that you are doing!"

Diya Kumari said, "As a member of the National Tiger Conservation Authority, I will never tolerate such actions. If the MLA breaks the law, then the whole society will be affected by it, so it is up to the state government to decide what action should be taken against the MLA."
