Pakistan resorts to intense shelling on LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Jun 9 (IANS): Pakistan resorted to intense, unprovoked mortar shelling and firing on Tuesday on the line of control (LoC) to violate ceasefire in J&K's Poonch district.

Colonel Devender Anand said, "At about 6.30 a.m. today Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars along the LoC in Mankote sector of Poonch district.

"Indian army is retaliating befittingly".

This is the second ceasefire violation by Pakistan in less than 12 hours.

Yesterday, around 7.45 p.m. Pakistan used intense shelling with mortars to violate ceasefire in Khari Karmara sector of Poonch district.

Bilateral firing exchanges are now going on between the two sides in Mankote sector as locals remain huddled with fear inside their homes because shells fired from across the LoC often result in civilian casualties and damage to their homes and agricultural fields.

Yesterday, the army's disposal squad defused two unexploded 122-mm mortar shells fired by Pakistan in the Balakot sector thereby preventing a tragedy that could have resulted in civilian casualties.

Oh, time to send troops to destroy some trees again and say 'Gah mein ghoos ker maar aayen hain'

The very man in 2014 belittled Congress' soft corner for Pakistan and upon coming to power exchanged shawls to senior family members and went gate-crashing to birthday party bash.

    Yes Mr. Kamath,

See the tragedy. Indians voted him in 2014. During his journey of four years, the economy came down from 7.4 (2014) to 6.1%. People continued to trust him and voted for him again. Within one year (2020), the economy came to 1%. So, what is your implication ? We Indians deserve to go downwards with our growth ?

If you say so, I salute you. Feel pride in his winning and let India prosper in negative growth.

Well, please don't blame Covid-19 yet, 1% growth was in the first quarter of 2020. Covid-19 effects are yet to be shown in this month (2nd quarter).

Don't worry too much about Modi
He will come again with more than 375 seats
If possible try to hold that 56 seats
    Shelling is not started now
    Our army can handle
Don't try to discourage our army

Oh yes, 375 seats and the remaining seats too. Take it. Because he is aimed at taking India to Somalian level without opposition. Please carry on.
