Bantwal: Unidentified Persons Attack Man Accused of Murder

Bantwal, Feb 5: A man accused in a murder case as well as six other criminal cases, was attacked by a group of five unidentified persons near Benjanapadav under Bantwal rural police station on Thursday February 4.

The man has been identified as Rajesh and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangalore.

The injured man resides near where he was attacked. The attackers came in a car and hit the motorcycle on which Rajesh was travelling along with his friend Pramod.

Pramod escaped from the spot without injuries and the miscreants fled after attacking Rajesh. 

He is an accused in a communal murder case and is also booked in six cases of criminal activities.

Bantwal rural police registered a case in this regard.
