Kundapur: Body of unidentified man found in Souparnika river at Gangolli

Kundapur, Jun 12: A body of an unidentified man was found in Souparnika river, near Varahaswamy temple at Maravante which comes under Gangolli police station limits here on Friday June 12.

As per sources, the body found is of a male aged 60 to 65 years. It is believed that the body is over two days old.

On receiving information the sub-inspector of the area, Bhimshankar Chandra, along with officials Sooranna and Rajesh D'Souza, fished out the body with help of locals Gracian D'Souza, Chandra, and 24/7 ambulance operator Ibrahim Gangolli, Wilson Riberio and Rajab.

Soon after the body was recovered, it was sent to the Byndoor government hospital mortuary.

    Long back someone said this world is about survival of the fittest. Post Covid 19 this is becoming a reality (assuming that this is a case of suicide). Life will never the same after Covid 19.
