Insanity is doing the same thing again: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Jun 13 (IANS): Sharing the chart of Covid-19 cases in all the 4 lockdowns, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday targeted the Union Government for mismanagement of the coronavirus crisis. Rahul said, doing same thing again and again is insanity.

Sharing a quote in a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

The coronavirus cases in India have crossed the 3 lakh-mark with positive cases increasing daily.

Earlier on Friday, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted: "India is firmly on its way to winning the wrong race."

"A horrific tragedy, resulting from a lethal blend of arrogance and incompetence," he added.

With a record single-day spike of cases, India's Covid-19 cases crossed 3 lakh-mark on Saturday, to 3,08,993.

This is what the arrogance of BJP doesn't want to accept it and in the bargain Modi's first "DEMO" on December 2016 and the next "National Lockdown for Corona" in March 2020 proved him wrong and it cost the nation very dearly from "Rich to the Poor" and the "Elite Class to the Labour Class". Flawed with multiple rate structure GST...28% slab(Rahul Gandhi calls it as Gubber Singh Tax) was Bonus to Indian Economy's decimation!. Not a single minister in Modi Govt. has neither the brains nor the competance! Yatha Raja "Chaiwala,Chowkidaar" ...Tatha Praja..Jai Hind.

What Pheku is doing? What is his role?

Only organizing taali bajavo, Ghanta Bajavo, Diya jalao, when virus had effected thousand people. Now what event he want to do when it has crossed three lakhs.

No concrete steps by Central Government except telling the people that we have to live with the virus now.

    Failed leadership!

Rahulphobia in Andhbhakts is so deep that they have completely lost their thinking power. They start mocking him even before reading what are the concerns raised by him. They should understand that the people are not concerned about whether Congress/Rahul win or loose the elections. They are worried about how the leadership of the country responds to the situation and take all of us out the mess.

Here this crisis is not the competition between Modi or Rahul Gandhi but do or die situation for the citizens of the country. When PM is not responding to the situation we all need to wake him up, otherwise we all will lose the war against the virus and economy.

Making fun of Rahul is not the solution but making PM to act in the right way is the solution. Our target should be PM and not Rahul.

Look at the world NOT from your position, but look at the world from YOUR position.
Why does nt this guy go to hospital to see how doctors, sisters, and other staff are working in horrible condition ? Is he a human being or not ? He is a politcian, let him go o and work among sufferers.
Pappu ji instead of critizising the efforts why can't you suggest a fool proof plan how you could have done differently and set an example eradicating all covid cases from Maharashtra ? Someone from Vadra Congress please tell him..!!!

Our govt mis managed the economy& Covid response. There are no experts/scholers in the govt to handle the economy. Migrant workers problem was avoidable tragedy.Hospitals beds are full with no govt help. Poor people have no jobs ,no money for food. Only God can help.

Truth is that the PM failed to take the timely actions which resulted in complete chaos both in fighting the virus or lifting up the economy. This is felt by the citizens of India and only supporters of Modi pretend that everything is under control. When things went out of control Central government stepped back and asked state government to decide on lockdown. Why this was not done from the beginning? Role of Central government was limited to management of events.

Even during this crisis, election is important for the ruling party and they are ready to spend hundreds of crores of rupees. Humanity with these people are completely missing. This crisis has uncovered the capability of the leader. Bhashans and fake WhatsApp forwards cannot sustain the leadership but the actions. Total silence at this juncture is the sign of nervousness.

Leader needs to unite the people, assure them if we have to come out of the situation.

satish kunder what as per you was the time to do lock down? did you anywhere wrote to do lock down or have you read anywhere about any leader saying we should do lock down?
even after lockdown our leaders make people dance here and there in the name of migrant workers transportaion or tabligis or try to create confusion among people. now after reaching 3 lakh same people say lock down not correct?
unfortunately this corona problem is a political issue for some people.

    Dear Anirudd,

PM of the country is highest position surrounded by advisors and intelligence people. He is the first man to get all the information and when total world was effected with the virus.

We had the first case of virus on 31st January at Kerala and Kerala Government started its act from that day. Why PM did not start the screening at airport since February when experts told him that there is danger to India? Even opposition leader cautioned him on 12th February. He should have cancelled Namaste trump, Tabligi meet and buying of MLAs at MP. Screening at airport started only on 9th of March by that time virus had spread all over. Lockdown on 22nd March was too late.

He should have considered country first, before him and his party. Unfortunately that is not the way he works. Now we have a problem and have to live with it. Only one man is responsible for this mess.

Very true. The disastrous decisions of the GOI are now exposed. People grieved when the consequences of demonetisation drove them to poverty, misery and deaths. People lost business and unemployment was at its peak at 7% post GST which was done without proper planning. People are pushed to the below poverty levels post lockdown causing loss of jobs, unpaid salaries, loss of their dear ones due to COVID 19, crash in GDP and investment, and untold misery for migrants and NRIs.
All this aimed at: ONE UPMANSHIP to evoke CHEAP THRILLS from their flatterers. Now India is racing towards topping the wrong race and the decision-makers still claim they are WISE. GOD HAVE MERCY ON THE PEOPLE.

..says an individual who has lost and rejected by Indians again and again and again.
The loss is to such an extent his 100year old family constituency to a lady and then had to run down south Wayanad Kerala and we all know how and why.
if RaGa has answers to it, ask him to start controlling COVID 19 in his party ruled states. no one is stopping him to work in his states.. have centre opposed if any good action is taken by any state??

Who is rejected and who is elected can be determined by ballot paper voting and not machine voting.( I am purposefully not wring the name of the machine as the comment with the name of the machine is not published. )

Francis, You should not be saying this. The 'machine ' problem is a ploy by Cong leaders , so the losers can contest again and again . If that was the case you think Cong would have kept quiet.
Even the supreme Court has announced this and nobody could prove.

I agree with you in the better interests of the Cong , RaGA has to be replaced immediately.
The issue is he is asking wrong questions. As on date there is no cure to COVID19 world wide. What can anyone do. Even US , UK are clueless. Its now on us Individuals to fend ourselves. When lock down was imposed we Indians wanted to oppose instead of staying put where we are. We take the Govt for granted. When lockdown was eased on certain conditions. we flout those rules, like social distancing and wearing masks. Indians abroad have their tail between their legs and had locked themselves for 76 days in China, Middle East and Europe ,, But only in India we want to blame.

Part of the problem was lock down imposed with 3 hr notice stranding crores of poor migrant workers with no money to return to home.No cash assistance given to poor workers by the BJP govt to stimulate economy. All western countries infused cash to poor people. Further, no one starving for food in any western Country. In India poor people are starving w/o food.& shelter. No hope of recovery.Only lip service ,no action.
