Mangalore, Feb 8: K S Eshwarappa, state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged that the Justice B K Somashekara Commission formed to probe into church attacks has overruled the tradition of inquiry commissions by making its findings public before presenting it to Chief Minister (CM), thus sending wrong signal to the society.
Speaking to presspersons at the district BJP office near PVS circle in the city on Monday February 8, Eshwarappa, said that the findings of the inquiry commission reports were submitted to CMs of the state so far. But the Justice Somashekara Commission by releasing the copy of the report to the public has made an attempt to break the tradition. This is a part of the larger conspiracy, he remarked.
The government will act only after the final report is sent to the government. The final decision will made only after total findings, said Eshwarappa. The opposition leader S Siddaramaiah is using the commissions report as a tool to blame the government, but it will adversely affect his own party as people are aware of the facts, he stressed.
