Mangalore, Feb 8: K S Eshwarappa, state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged that the Justice B K Somashekara Commission formed to probe into church attacks has overruled the tradition of inquiry commissions by making its findings public before presenting it to Chief Minister (CM), thus sending wrong signal to the society.

Speaking to presspersons at the district BJP office near PVS circle in the city on Monday February 8, Eshwarappa, said that the findings of the inquiry commission reports were submitted to CMs of the state so far. But the Justice Somashekara Commission by releasing the copy of the report to the public has made an attempt to break the tradition. This is a part of the larger conspiracy, he remarked.

The government will act only after the final report is sent to the government. The final decision will made only after total findings, said Eshwarappa. The opposition leader S Siddaramaiah is using the commissions report as a tool to blame the government, but it will adversely affect his own party as people are aware of the facts, he stressed.

Dist BJP Felicitates Eshwarappa

Eshwarappa was on his maiden visit to the city after becoming the party state president for a felicitation ceremony organized by the district committee of party in the Town Hall here. Earlier, a procession was also carried out from BJP district BJP office to Town Hall.

Addressing party workers after the felicitation, he said that the party will work on the demands of public. The state government is keenly interested to provide justice to all the communities, he said. Several projects have been implanted to help the poor people in the state, he reiterated.

The statements of K S Eshwarappa are showing irresponsibility of BJP in Karnataka State. The BJP itself appointed the commission and now BJP president is in Mangalore to prove the judge as wrong. Under the RTI act every citizen has the right to know the contents of the report and now this new leader is teaching wrong laws to his own party workers. If the Commission report is made public then it is in the public interest and as per the laws of the country. The BJP president is indirectly supporting the RSS and Bajarangdal who did the church attacks.

Mr Nagesh Nayak, Justice Somsheker was appointed by BJP gov and he gave fair report. Before Ayodhya issue BJP was nowhere in any state. Only due to communal agenda they gained the popularity. If there is conversion in our state then why cant BJP tackle them through the law. They are the rulers now. Do you think non BJP people are non Hindu’s? Majority of people those who voted to central gov are Hindus. If they all think that they don’t have any communal issue then why people like you are crying being a majority person? Simple equation dear. If out of 100 mangoes 10 are bad then that lot will not be called as waste lot, instead 10 mangoes are called as waste mangoes. So that refers people like you in this country.

Mr. Nagaesh Nayak, do not comment rubbish and do not poke your nose on this issue. If you are so keen in speaking hatredness then contest for Elections and speak out in Public. Remember that Christian Institutions have taken lead today in providing good education in the country. BJP has gained a name in communal violence in this country for that matter the main person who assasinated our Father of Nation 'Mahatma Ghandiji' is a RSS Man thus proving that RSS is a terrorist party.

Why Eshwarappa is soooo worried about leakage of the report to public, is his government missed the chance of manipulating the report, in any case BJP will not take any concrete steps to prevent these kind incidents and why he is crying foul?

Shri Eshwarappa: It is not just say something and get away with it. Tradition or no tradition what difference it would have made if the report was given in sealed envelope to the Government or pasted to a board in the public. Do you mean to say that facts will change if the report was given to the Government in private? Please in the interest of the society and in your personal interest do not make such irrespoonsible remarks in the public and stoke the flames. Instead, be reasonable towards the minority, earn their goodwill, win their confidence and strengthen BJP enabling it give stable and justful governance. We pray for your enlightenment and success. What is the conspiracy that he is talking about- that the interim report was made public- and why not.As a matter of fact al reports must be in the public domain as it is the public money that is spent on these commissions appointed by the government.A lw should be passed that under no condition can any commission reports - be they interim or final ones- be kept as "secrets" unless they infringe on the security of the nation. Mr President of the BJP, we who live in this city know the truth, knew and saw what happened so trying to put wool over the eyes of the public in general will neither help you nor your party in the future.

By the statement of BJP state president it looks like that they wanted to present more perverted reports to the public inditing christians as the cause of church attacks and wanted to just blind fold the truth. But one should know that falsehood and evils by its nature are bound to perish. Truth shall always be victorious. Satyameva jayathe.....

Mr Eishwarppa, please stop misguiding the public. The commission is set to find the truth and facts behind the church attacks and its the right of every citizen under Right to Information Act (RTI Act) to know what the report says. Government is by the people, for the people and of the people. Its not BJPs personal asset. BJP just wanted to manipulate the findings to their convenience and say to the larger public that they are innocent and what has happened is most unfortunate. If the Government is not party to the church attacks, please tell us, why are you so concerned about making the report public. Let there be transparency. No government can blind fold its citizens. One can fool us some time and they cant fool us all the time. Can CM make it public the names of the people who are arrested and booked for church attacks? Can he also tel their affiliations..

Mr Iswarappa,President of Karnataka state BJP,truth is always bitter sir, and don't excuse in the name of leakage. It is your responsibilty to give a non partial statement in this matter. As you are visiting Mangalore and the incident happend also in Mangalore your committment to punish the criminals by giving sound and storng message was very important.

But some are how it is not possible because the criminals involved in this incident are one or other way belongs to Sangh Parivar. What about aftermath attack of churchs and Mosques in Karnataka ?We need simple justice!!!We need assurance from BJP govt for security of our place of worship.
