Sudhanshu found it 'awkward' to play Karanvir's dad in 'The Casino'

New Delhi, Jun 14 (IANS): Actor-singer Sudhanshu Pandey says it was technically awkward to play actor Karanvir Bohra's father in the series "The Casino" but added that as an artiste he forgot about everything and focussed on giving the best to the character.

"If you really think of it, technically it is very awkward because we are almost the same generation. The same age group but when you are an actor and playing a character I guess you have to forget about everything else and basically focus, and give the best to your characters that you are going to play," Sudhanshu told IANS.

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the show will feature Sudhanshu in a different avatar. The actor will sport grey hair.

The actor hopes he is convincing as a father to Karanvir. "I hope that I have been able to give it that kind of edge to this character. I hope I am convincing for the audience and I have tried my level best to make it different and convincing as a father to Karanvir," he added.

"The Casino" streams on Zee5 from Friday also stars Mandana Karimi. The 10-episode series tells the story of a rich yet humble boy, Vicky, who is the heir to his father's multi-billion-dollar casino. The show promises a world of mystery and conspiracy in high society.
