Udupi, Feb 9: AIDS awareness jatha and street play was organized by Red Ribbon Club and NSS of Milagres College, Kallianpur here, recently.
The programme was held under the guidance of NSS officers Dr Gerald Pinto and Rajeshwari. Jatha began from the college to Santekatte via Nejar. Street play showcased at the bus stand of Santhekatte as part of the awareness programme.
Udupi district has the highest number of AIDS patients and 60 % of the affected youth are between the age of 20 and 30.
