Rahul Gandhi condoles deaths of soldiers in China clash

New Delhi, Jun 16 (IANS): Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi offered condolences to the families of three Indian soldiers who were killed in a violent face-off with Chinese troops in Ladakh's Galwan valley.

"Words cannot describe the pain I feel for the officers and men who sacrificed their lives for our country," tweeted Gandhi.

"My condolences to all their loved ones. We stand with you in this difficult time," he said.

The Congress on Tuesday issued a statement after reports of killing of three Indian soldiers by Chinese troops, alleging that the Modi government remained a "mute spectator" on Chinese transgressions at three points in Ladakh since April-May, 2020.

"Congress party remains firm that the entire country stands as one to protect India's National Security and our Territorial Integrity at all costs. Let Modi government remember that in our Parliamentary democracy, secrecy or silence is unacceptable on part of our government," said the statement.

Look at the world NOT from your position , but look at the world from YOUR position. India 20 and China 43 casualties as per CNN. So Indian soldiers did not take lying down , as potrayed by Pappu Khan and his Ghulams. Indian Army is firmly committed to protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation. Its not MMS regime anymore 'Khadi Ninda aur cricket nahin khelengey''.

    @ Avinash,

People are bored with your one line slogan. Invent something new. You can get many such slogans from the great leader you have been portraying.

It's not 3 soldiers died, it's 20 soldiers died and 40 casualties at the Chinese side. BJP did a surgical strike and didn't give any details of what they achieved. Just fooled the public and got elected. Now even a small nation like Nepal is challenging India. Defense minister should resign immediately.

China’s aggression and Nepal’s daring.... is a sign of our diminished power and diplomatic hubris ? can we say we lack leadership....? Unless we show them their place.....? Many questions..... probably few or no answers....

OMG, Did our Pradhan Sevak forget to condole our soldiers??????.......He should have been the first one to remember this and the least he could have done is to ask the nation to observe a moment of silence in honour of our dear soldiers. Is he maintaining social distancing with soldiers and busy maintaining social closeness with Rajasthan congress MLAs?!?!?!?!?!.....
