Chinese mainland reports 44 new confirmed COVID-19 cases


Beijing, Jun 17 (IANS): Chinese health authority said on Wednesday that it received reports of 44 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Tuesday, of which 33 were domestically transmitted and 11 were imported.

Of the domestically transmitted cases, 31 cases were reported in Beijing, one in Hebei Province, and one in Zhejiang Province, the National Health Commission said in its daily report, Xinhua reported.

No deaths related to the disease were reported Tuesday, according to the commission.

    yesturday Maharastra govt announced 1409 new death with out any location as UNKNOWN location,
    Mumbai alone crossed 60000 case and recovery rate is 50%
    Maharastra crossed 1,13,000 case recovery rate is - 50%
    Maharastra positive case is 32% of total country case
    Gujarat recovery rate is 70%
    Maharastra positive case 928 per million, where as Gujarat is 362 per million.
    Mumbai Mortality rate is 5.25%, and Gujarat Mortality rate is 6.25%

    who is talking for 1% more mortality rate, mum on other issues.
    Washim district in Maharastra has more than 20% mortality Rate which is 3.5 times higher than Gujarat.

    Gujarat District Dhang is having zero active case, and no district from maharastra have zero active case
    7 district in Gujarat has zero death, where as Maharastra has only 3 district with out death.

    Dhule district in Maharastra has more than 10.5% mortality rate which is almost double of Gujarat.

    Sonia sena led maharastra govt completely failed. More over many 1000s of case from maharastra recorded in othet states as people travelled.

    Udupi - 85%-90% case from Maharastra returnee, not Gujarat returnee....
