New Delhi, Jun 17 (IANS): The Delhi government has decided to provide Covid test facility at all dispensaries in the south-west district of the national capital. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) of south-west Delhi with all the departments.
It was decided that all dispensaries in the south-west district shall function as single point of contact for all Covid related issues.
"Tests will be conducted at all dispensaries. Tomorrow onwards, antigens test and RT PCR both will be available at all dispensaries for everyone where sample will be collected and also report will be conveyed as soon as received from labs." said a statement from DDMA.
Medical officers at dispensary will also ensure admission at Covid care center/health care center or home isolation as per guidelines and will also facilitate the admission in private hospitals with the help of nodal officers deployed at the hospitals.
In the meeting it has been decided to ensure heightened surveillance in the containment zones, increased facility of testing in the district, active contact tracing of every positive case, hassle free admission in hospitals and to ensure functioning of hotel hospital linkage in district, SOP for disposal of dead body.
