Who sent unarmed Indian soldiers towards danger: Rahul

New Delhi, Jun 18 (IANS): China has committed a "big mistake" by killing the unarmed Indian soldiers, said former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and trained guns at the Narendra Modi government questioning who sent the soldiers unarmed and also asked who was responsible for their deaths.

"By killing the unarmed soldiers of India, China has committed a big mistake. I want to ask who sent them unarmed towards the danger and why, who is responsible?" Rahul Gandhi said in a video message.

His remarks came soon after he questioned the government over the killing of 20 Indian soldiers by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) in an unprecedented attack in Ladakh's Galwan Valley and asked why soldiers were sent "unarmed" to martyrdom.

"How dare China kill our unarmed soldiers? Why were our soldiers sent unarmed to martyrdom?" Rahul Gandhi asked the government in a tweet on Thursday.

The attack by the Congress leader continued for the second consecutive day.

On Wednesday he questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the killing of Indian soldiers in Galwan Valley. Rahul Gandhi in a tweet said, "Why is the Prime Minister silent? Why is he hiding? Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened. How dare China kill our soldiers? How dare they take our land?"

Later in the day, he also took a jibe at Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for taking two days to condole the death of 20 Indian soldiers, including an officer, in Ladakh's Galwan Valley.

"If it was so painful, why insult Indian Army by not naming China in your tweet? Why take two days to condole? Why address rallies as soldiers were being martyred? Why hide and get the Army blamed by the crony media? Why make paid-media blame Army instead of government of India?" Rahul said in a tweet on Wednesday.

The fresh salvo from the Congress leader came after Rajnath Singh on Wednesday afternoon condoled the death of 20 Indian soldiers, including an officer. The Defence Minister in a tweet said, "The loss of soldiers in Galwan is deeply disturbing and painful. Our soldiers displayed exemplary courage and valour in the line of duty and sacrificed their lives in the highest traditions of the Indian Army."

Rajnath Singh had addressed a virtual BJP rally as part of 'Jan Samvad' on Sunday and Monday in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand respectively.

At least 20 Indian soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an unprecedented violent clash with Chinese PLA troops at Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on Monday night.

Who is talking about firearems? Chinese used batons wrapped in barbed wire against Indian soldiers. Indian soldiers fought back with bare arms. People are defending such colossal incompetence of the BJP government.

In India only a politicians' life is valuable, he has hundreds of security around him round the clock. They sit in the luxury of Delhi palaces and dictate terms. Poor soldiers' life has absolutely no value, they get killed as if it's nobody's business.
After death they are prised saying they were martyred in the line of duty, great tradition of the Indian army, fought till their last breath, India will not forget them and so on. Their wives and children will live in misery for rest of their lives.

Rahul , Priyanka, Sonia Gandhi, and the entire Congress party of India, and all citizens of India, must jointly oppose the had handling of this issue by PM Modi.

I challenge the Congress party to oppose every wrong moves of Modi, and take over the helm of affairs of our beloved country, before it is too late.

If there is any credible leadership left in Congress, this is the time to uproot BJP, Pan India, and rescue our nation.

We are under unprecedented crisis. Economic Crisis, Unemployment, Industrial Bankruptcy, Banking Crisis, so many such crisis invented by Modi led BJP Govt., Covid Crisis ignored and neglected in Feb, got multiplier effect with unplanned lock down and adding migrant crisis. In every crisis, BJP's party fund swelled like anything. It is that money motivates many bhakths to remain loyal to party probably.

Our opportunistic enemies knows india under Modi Govt., is in deep trouble. They are using the opportunity to expand their territory. Our weak PM and Def Minister, can only give two bhashans.
Unfortunately again, it is our soldiers trying to save our borders with bare hand. Paying a heavy price that includes their life for Modi Govt failures.

Most of the times Rahul Gandhi raised logical questions to the Government, if the ruling Government acted wisely on those advices there would have been so many harms could have been avoided. But the Government always mock him and not give any importance for his words. After realizing 6 years of Governance of Modi, now we can understand that Rahul would have been better prime minister than Modi. Its my view, to be a prime minister no need a 56" chest but wise decisions and sensitive towards the citizens

Three shocking incidents that shook the morale of the Indian Army and shocked the conscience of the Indian Citizens - Pathankot, Pulwama, and now Ladakh which took the precious lives of our soldiers. The paid media to sing praises of an incompetent Central Government shamelessly and blames the army!!! The present PM and Defence Minister who criticized Dr Manmohan Singh as PM when there were attacks on our soldiers at POK and borders are today sending our Soldiers unarmed to get killed by the aggressors. Shame on the GOI.

When it is border issue, the authorisation has to come the Civilian leadership.

The army then will execute the order.

The army does not decide on its own to fight with an enemy country.

The silence of our leadership tells the whole story.

According to the 'Aaj Tak' anchor blames Army, absolves BJP's ruling central government, for casualties in China face-off.
The fighting began on Monday night, June 15, after Indian troops belonging to the 16 Bihar Regiment, under commanding officer, Colonel Santosh Babu dismantled a Chinese tent set up near a position code-named Patrol Point 14, close to the mouth of the Galwan River.

Commanding officer Colonel Babu of 16 Bihar regiment ‘got orders from the top’ to go ahead and dismantle the tent. He went with his troops that led to clashes with its Chinese counterpart and in the ensuing fight, the Indian troops burnt down the Chinese tent.

The investigation and inquiries of this incident is a procedural matter, but the obvious question that every Indian has in mind is who had ordered Colonel Santosh Babu to lead his troops and dismantle the Chinese tent. Why were the lambs sent to become the mincemeat when it was very well Known that it’s a lion’s den?

Why PM Modi's BJP government stays silent for seven weeks after Chinese troops have intruded into the country?

I request Congress, opposition parties and Rahul Gandhi instead of questioning these 'Coward' government, set up crowd funding for the martyr soldiers. Many of these fallen heroes for economically backward and are in debt.

PM Cares fund is for Rajya sabha election horse trading. Let's we the common citizen of India care for the martyr soldiers.

For any politicians either Congress or BJP - for them others life is not important.
Will any politician go to that area without arms ? they take 20 highly paid commandos with fully loaded AK 47 to come out from their own house.

China must have given advice / warning / Final Warning but Our Govt. did not pass the message Moreover sent unarmed people to greet to face Chinese troupe
Govt even did not give permission to the other Army to open fire and to save them
Hence our soldiers were tortured and killed due to someone's grave mistake.  Now the same people are  in a damage control mode.

Even PM in his so called warning, not even once named China, all he said was generic stuff 'if the cap fits, wear it' kind, nothing specific to China, no wonder took 2 days for the speech writer to prepare this.
