Nepal passes updated map bill, escalates border dispute with India

New Delhi/Kathmandu, Jun 18 (IANS): Nepal's national assembly on Thursday passed the controversial bill on its updated political administrative map which includes parts of Indian territory. The move has escalated the border dispute with India.

The New Map Amendment Bill (Coat of Arms) refers to an updated map which shows strategically important Indian territories of Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura as territories of Nepal.

Last Saturday, Nepal's house of representatives, passed the bill in the lower house, paving way for its passage in the upper house on Thursday. Nepal's upper house passed the new bill unanimously with 57 votes in support and 0 votes against or abstained. The President of Nepal has now to give her assent to the bill.

The government in New Delhi last week called it a violation and an artificial enlargement of claims. "This artificial enlargement of claims is not based on historical fact or evidence and is not tenable. It is also violative of our current understanding to hold talks on outstanding boundary issues," the government spokesperson had said.

Incidentally, Nepalese students in Delhi protested against Chinese aggression against India in Ladakh where 20 Indian soldiers have been killed in a violent stand-off. The sit-in outside Nepal's embassy was organized by Human Rights and Peace Society Nepal. The students urged China to stop war and promote peace.

    Communists Chinese are using nepal, everywhere they are creating problem using small nation against bigger nation, like nepal against our nation, north korea against US, race against race in US also all set for religion against religion in Europe as already lot of foreigner in there due to the cunning wars in ME.

    Once half done then they show their real agenda of godless religion less atheistic rule. Already through virus they have half wrecked world economy for their control also seems they have planned more control through chip and id controlled vaccination which will be pushed through WHO, bill gates and other elites organisation like Gavi and ID2020 mainly to bring down population so to manage communist style control over the world.

    Modi Govt never in its dream thought about Nepal will do this to him until he is in power. It is a proven fact that when you interfere others house unnecessarily even with relatives they feel uncomfortable and try to avoid those interferences. Modi thinking that Nepal is relative and dealing with them in same manner. Whenever there is diplomacy it stands with the nation and not on friendship of individual or relation. Modi has to learn lot of things. Only by hugging nothing will work out

    India has provided help in critical times to Nepal but with Chinese deep pockets has worked. Nepal know that allying with China is better given the economic strength of China. China also uses covert threats to secure support. China claims mount Everest too but Nepal is scared to bark against them.

    Gurkaland will be curved out from North eastern parts of India including Darjeeling and surrounding area. Kashmir will be given to Kashmiris to prevent death, bloodshed, poverty and drain in to Indian economy.
