Three youths, allegedly doing wheeling stunts, die in accident in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Jun 21: Three youths lost their lives in a ghastly accident that occurred at Yelahanka here on Sunday June 21.

They were allegedly attempting wheeling stunts with their bikes on the main road when the accident took place. It is learnt that two of the bikes collided head-on.

The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Hadi, Ahmed Khan and Syed Riaz, all residents of Nagavara Govindapura.

A case in this regard has been registered in Yelahanka traffic police station.

    Many such stunts esp during eid/ramzan times r performed here at Bangalore without helmets and the best part is Police will not arrest or charged them, they will only charge or arrest innocent ppl .
    I don't have any sympathy for these idiots only issue is unnecessary innocent life is put into danger when they meet these idiots

    These incidents happen in broad daylight and no bystanders inform the cops. I'm a responsible biker and I have called hoyalsa many times when I see these kids pulling a wheelie on the new airport road and OMR when on rides to Nandhi Hills and Kolar.

    These youth are a menace and are capable of injury to self and society.

    Sir You can't / don't need to modify anything on a bike to get maximum speed.
    you can do ECU remapping but won't benifit much , Technically today's 300 cc + bikes are armed with best technology & bikes like ktm rc 390 go up to speeds upto 175 kmph. where as super bikes like Hayabusa , kawasaki zx10r do 300 kmph.

    This is not the first time accidents and death happened due to wheeling stunts in Bangalore.It has happened in the past.It will happen in the future also.Some youth and boys will never learn lesson.But these youth dangers passers by life also.Police should prosecute their parents also.

    Why are you blaming parents?, Kids these days misuse the privileges they are getting. The wheeling and drag race become passion for the kids. I know the authorities try their best to curb such illegal activities, but they can't control everything, the responsibility should start from you.

    These adament youths are putting their lives in danger for nothing. They do this as a copy of some western riders and consider themselves as hero. Police should ban such practice and anyone doing wheeling stunts should be arrested and fined. Such youth should also be counselted by Police. My condolence to the family members of deceased youth.

    Yours is a very inhumane & cruel comment!
    It can happen to anybody if their peer group is such!
    Can you follow & protect any youngster wherever he goes, & how do you know what he is doing behind you? If he has decided to do it he will definitely do it; only parents can make them understand, force is of no use, it can lead to irrational decisions like suicide etc.!

    Mind you, nobody should wish anyone to die! Even the courts give capital punishment after making 100% sure that the accused are guilty! Even capital punishment has been abolished in many advanced countries!!

    Be in their parents place & think!!

    Don't be emotional. I don't think their parents r not knowing about this stunt. As said by some one if any public or police try to stop them whole peace loving religion start playing "minority r not safe" tune. And some sickulars will second fiddle them.

    I understand in my comment I am inhumane. We are unable to speak with these street guys even when they commit mistake. Being in Mumbai you comment. These street boys do not have education properly and behave as if whole BANGALORE IS meant for them.

    If you show humanity to a tiger the loss is for you. Similarly for few human beings. You know, Bangalore local guys in some of the areas don't even pass SSLC. They do just house keeping work. Not even security job. Bangalore is ruled by outsiders. We are none to blame their parents because youngsters don't listen. Even if we don't have education we can strive for better living.

    Stunt is good, only when it doesn't create harm to anyone. What is the stunt in heavy vehicle moving roads? Teach me your humanity please.
