I see online community being hurtful to each other: Ratan Tata

New Delhi, Jun 22 (IANS): Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus, Tata Group on Sunday called for an end to online hate mongering and bullying and asked the online community to be more kind and sensitive.

In a post on Instagram, Tata said the online community is being hurtful to each other.

"This year has been full of challenges for everyone, on some level or the other. I see online community being hurtful to each other, bringing each other down, harshly and with quick judgements," he said.

"I believe this year especially calls for all of us to be unified and helpful and is not the time to pull each other down," he added.

Asking the online community to be more sensitive towards each other, Tata emphasised the need for "more of kindness and more of understanding and patience than what one sees today".

Tata said while his "presence online is limited, but I truly hope it will evolve into a place of empathy and support for everyone, no matter what your cause, rather than hate and bullying".

Ninety nine percent of the hate tweets originates from IT cells of the various parties. They pay per tweet and unemployed youth sit all day and shoot tweets of hatred to benefit their masters. Otherwise common people does not have that much time for virtual hatred spread.

The BJP IT cell encouraged by Modi and Amit Shah have vitiated the whole atmosphere in the country with their Hate and Bullying. For them all that matters is winning elections. What happens to the social fabric of our country is immaterial to them. More bothered about their short term gains than the long term Interests of our country.

TATA sir people are betrayed for the POWER and THAT reason the general public turn into show the anger on one another !! earlier there was ONE ON SCREEN HERO LIVED IN INDIAN CINEMA to portrayed their daily life struggle and take out the anger on SCREEN and they were happy ! Now the time has changed ! Yeah time has changed ! people dont hesitate to write anything in the social media including their purely personal matter for gaining of likes. I know big to big star to start even the TIK TALK video as they are nothing do in the life !! I dont blame the CURRENT or Previous Governments for the situation created but I would curse my self and other million voters for not learning the lesson from the past !!
