Mangaluru: Motorcycle rider comes under wheels of own tractor, dies

Mangaluru, Jun 22: In a tragic incident that occurred on the afternoon of Monday, June 22, at Hu Hakuva Kallu, Punyakoti Nagaraa under Konjaje police station limits, a motorcycle rider came under the wheels of his own tractor and died.

The deceased motorcycle rider is of Gadag origin and was owning and working in his own tractor. On Monday, he did not go for work but called some other person to drive his tractor.

The other driver, who was called by the deceased, was returning after doing some excavation work of a house at Punyakoti Nagara via the inner road that joins with Mudipu-Manjanady connecting road on the tractor. On the same road, the owner of the tractor was approaching on motorcycle and collided with the tractor.

 

The owner of the tractor, who was riding the bike, was thrown on to the road and came under the wheels of the tractor. He died instantly as the wheels of the tractor went over his head.

Konaje and Mangaluru South traffic police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
