Timely request Jenifer. For sure SNS/BJD/VHP are least concerned about matters like this. Especially Muthalik who is from North Karnataka. He is concerned about girls in Bangalore/Mangalore but about daughters from his own area.

I am thankful to the Dharmadhikari for this generous deed. I wish to plead to the authorities of Dharmasthala to conduct a campaign among people of Northern Karnataka because in these places people are so backward that they still believe in Devadasi culture and dedicate the eldest daughter for divine service as 'Devadasi' Male monsters there on religious disguise feast on these innocent girls and we the educated women watch it helplessly. If we offer to even talk on this subject at-once conversion excuse is raised and we are shoo'd away. Please educate people to come out of myths and blind belief and encourage women to live a dignified life.
