Mangaluru: Coronavirus claims life of 70-year-old man - 9th victim in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, Jun 23: Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday, June 23, recorded its ninth death due to novel coronavirus.

The victim, identified by number P-6282, was a 70-year-old man. He had arrived to Mangaluru from Bengaluru on June 7.

The patient reportedly died without responding to treatment.

He was suffering from asthma and pneumonia. He had Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) symptoms and was hence admitted to Wenlock COVID hospital on June 12.
