Mangalore, Feb 14: Property-Mangalore Premiere League (MPL) organized by Mangalore Sports Club and Mangala Sports Private Limited, saw a grand opening on Sunday February 14 at the NMPT ground in Panambur. 

This tournament has been organized with the intention of providing a boost to the local cricketing talents.

Property-MPL was formally inaugurated by Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament, in the evening. 























Ramachandra Baikampady, chairman, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation, Congress leader Moideen Bava, Ronald Monteiro, Property Real Estate and Developers, Manohar Amin, president of Mangalore Sports Club, and Shashidhar Suvarna, director, Mangala Sports Private Limited, were present during the inaugural. 

The ‘Man of the Match’ of the first match was K Gautam from Bedra Bulls team and was presented a cheque of  Rs 1,000 in a function by guest Valentine D’Souza, circle inspector, Panambur,.

The main sponsor for MPL is Mangalore Property Real Estate and Developers.  

The tournament started at noon with the first match between Bantwal Black Cats (BBC) and Bedra Bulls (BB). The latter won the match by six wickets with 112 runs.

    Its great to see some pictures of players as well as spectaors enjoying their weekend.Hope from this our young talent gets opportunity in higher level . Still its sad to see we have to use mat instead of turf pitches .
