Karkala: ICYM, Mundkur Celebrates Decennial Year

Karkala, Feb 15: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Mundkur celebrated its decennial year along with Our Lady of Lourdes Feast at church grounds here on Sunday, February 14.


 

Holy Eucharistic celebration was held on the occasion. Fr Richard Coelho was the Celebrant of the Mass.  He was accompanied by Fr Peter Pinto, deanery priest and former director of ICYM, Udupi.

The programme held as a part of decennial year was presided over by Fr Richard Coelho, vicar of Shirva deanery.  Fr Peter Pinto, former director of ICYM, Udupi, Manoj D'Lima, former president of Udupi district, Joseph Serrao, Mumbai businessman were the guests of honour.

ICYM president, Vineetha D’Mello welcomed the gathering and Fr Elias D'Souza, parish priest delivered keynote address. After the stage programme Konkani drama “Amkam Lottery Utlya” was performed by ICYM members.

    I really missed this day.These pics shows the presence of youth in our church.Its a Great day for our youth to discover the real talent.From past 10 years we stood till here.There will be many things coming soon....

I have witnessed the active and committed youth at Mundkur, when I visited few months back.
