Udupi, Feb 16: The devotees of Lord Sri Krishna of Udupi will be able to offer services to their favourite deity by sitting in the cosy environs of their homes, by tapping a few keys. This has been made possible with the launching of E-Seva by Corporation Bank, which was inaugurated by Sri Lakshmivarateertha Swamiji of Shiroor Mutt here on Monday February 15, at Vasant Mahal.

The people living anywhere in the world, can make use of their accounts maintained in different banks or debit/credit cards to offer various services to the Lord, by accessing the site, udupishiroormutt.in, said the Bank’s general manager, B R Bhat. He added that the amounts so sent by the devotees will get credited to the account of the Mutt through e-pg system, and the senders will get receipt through emails. Once the bank provides details of the devotees, the Mutt will send Prasadams to the devotees through postal service or courier agencies.

Prakash Kudva, M G Bhandarkar and K G Mayya of Corporation Bank were present.
