There are a lot of choices out there, but don't make the mistake of picking something "in style" that doesn't really suit your face type.

Abhishek Rastogi, Head of Design, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited shares some pointers on how to select earrings to accentuate your best facial features.

Ladies with the versatile oval face can wear almost any shape and style of earrings. From jhumkis to hoops to danglers; there is nothing that won't suit the oval face, but triangular shaped earrings helps best to accentuate the lovely cheekbones.

The curvy round face looks great with long flowy earrings that help add length to the face. Breezy shoulder dusters, linear chandeliers and stiletto earrings look best on a round face. Avoid large circular earrings, studs and hoops that may further emphasize the roundness.

The lovely heart shaped face looks perfect when counterbalanced by earrings that are wider at the bottom than the top to help fill in the lower portion of the face. Broad Chandbalis, big chandeliers and teardrop earrings looks amazing on this face type.

The unique square face looks best with softer oval and round shapes that helps soften the hard edges of the face. Hoops and long dangling earrings with rounded edges do wonders to a square face. However, stay away from stark square shaped earrings as it only reinforces the squareness of the face.
