204 test positive, J&K COVID-19 tally is 6,966


Jammu, Jun 27 (IANS): As 204 people tested positive in J&K on Saturday, the number of active COVID-19 patients reached 2,648 while the total tally jumped to 6,966.

A statement issued by the information and public relations department said 204 tested positive on Saturday, 13 from Jammu division and 191 from Kashmir division.

One patient succumbed in the hospital and so far 93 people have been killed by the dreaded virus in J&K.

Of all, 4,225 patients have completely recovered.

The number of active cases is 2,648 out of which 448 are from Jammu division and 2,200 are from Kashmir division.
