Mangalore: ‘Oriyardori Asal’ Tulu Film to Hit Silver Screen Soon

Mangalore, Feb 17: Well known play-wright Vijay Kumar Kodialbail's super hit Tulu drama, Oriyardori Asal, a creative landmark in Tulu theatre will be the first DTS Tulu fim to hit the silver screen. The muhurat shot of the film was held at the Bhagavathi temple in Kodialbail on Wednesday February 17.
Music directors of Dakshina Kannada origin in Sandalwood, V Manohar sounded the clapperboard and Gurukiran was present. Nalin Kumar Kateel, member of the parliament inaugurated the programme.
Sri Esha Vittaladassa Swamiji from Kemaru Mutt blessed the occasion. Speaking at the programme, swamiji said that the films need to send a social message to its viewers.
Actor Kasargod Chinna, Nagraj Shetty, chairman of Coastal Development Authority, Mangalore MLA U T Khader, Walter Nandalike, editor-in-chief, Daijiworld.com, Eric Ozario, gurkar of Mandd Sobhann Suresh Ballal, former chairman, Mangalore Development Authority and Award winning tulu film director Shivadwaj among others were present.
On and Off-Screen Team
The film made under the banner of Anaji Films is directed by Ha Soo Rajashekar and has story, screen play, dialogue and lyrics by popular Tulu playwright Vijaykumar Kodialbail. Tulu theatre actor, `Kusaldarase’ Naveen D Padil will play the lead role with supporting cast of eminent artistes from theatre Aravind Bolar, Rajesh Bantwal and Suresh Mangalore.
B Suresh Babu will be the cinematographer for the film that will be edited by Shrinivas P Babu. The music director of the film is A K Vijay (Kokila) and S P Balasubrahmanyam, Rajesh Krishnan, Rameshchandra, Hemanth, Nandita and Sangeetha Balachandra will provide the playback.
