Those guilty, surely the police are, need to be awarded life in prison. In a civilized world police should not be allowed to torture people in custody.
The chief minister of TN made a most irresponsible and stupid statement regarding the cause of death. Why do politicians, specially the ruling party, defend the police in all States?

Those cops to be handed over to the angry mob. There is one more similar incident in Chennai in today's news, one auto rickshaw guy was tortured in the jail on a land issue and when he came home he was not talking and after a while he started vomiting blood and later died in the hospital. As per medical reports he was brutally tortured by the cops.
These cops only torture only common citizen and salute the criminals. Shame on these police goons.

We want whole India to wake up against the never ending episodes of custodial deaths. What has happened to the father and son shouldn’t happen even to our worst enemy. All those involved in the crime should be held accountable.
