Mangalore, Feb 17: Manipal Hurricanes, Suratkal Sharks, and Bedra Bulls won the three matches of the Property-MPL held at NMPT ground in Panambur on Wednesday February 17.

In the first match held in the morning of the fourth day, Manipal Hurricanes chose to bat after winning the toss. The team scored 157 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. 

Bantwal Black Cats were unable to meet this target and scored only 143 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the end of their 20 overs. Sudhir Rao of Manipal Hurricanes, was declared man of the match.

In the second match between Suratkal Sharks and Karavali Warriors held at noon, the former won the match by 5 wickets. Karavali Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first.














 

They scored 141 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. But the Suratkal Sharks scored 145 runs in 19.5 overs for the loss of five wickets.  Deepak Chougule of Suratkal Sharks was the man of the match.

In the night match between Coastal Digest and Bedra Bulls, the latter won the match by 8 wickets. The former team had chosen to bat first after winning the toss.  

Bedra Bulls easily chased Coastal Digest’s target of 66 runs set in 19 overs for the loss of all wickets. They reached the target in 9.1 overs and Zahoor Farouqi of the team was selected man of the match.  

By winning this match Bedra Bulls has three wins from the four matches played and Suratkal Sharks and Coastal Digest are also in a similar position. 

Manipal Hurricanes and Bantwal Black Cats have each won one match of three each played. Karavali Warriors has lost all the three matches it played.
