Struggle against injustice is religion: Scindia

Bhopal, Jul 2 (IANS): Prior to the second expansion of Shivraj Singh Chouhan's cabinet in Madhya Pradesh, former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday said the struggle against injustice is the religion.

Scindia is scheduled to attend the second expansion ceremony of the Chouhan cabinet in Bhopal and is likely to stay in the city for a couple of days. But, before that on Thursday, Scindia tweeted, "The struggle waged against injustice is the religion."

The BJP government has been formed due to Scindia's support in the state. This is the reason that adequate importance is being given to Scindia supporters in the Shivraj cabinet.

At the same time, the Congress has been making several allegations on Scindia. His tweet is being considered as a response to the Congress' allegations.

After hogging the limelight Scindia in the Congress now speaks of injustice. This guy has risen to power without slogging it out for the Congress as a loyal party worker. He now wants to preach to the party that gave him hold in politics.

The congress should not have let go this dynamic leader Scindia and should have taken a good care of him by giving him the CM chair of MP. Scindia would have taken the party to new heights. Perhaps by this time Scindia would have been a real threat to Modis PM chair. Its redoubtable if anyone like Scindia exists in Cong. But Alas, the Cong is a family party and want to promote RaGa despite his disastarous track record since 2013.

Sir, For Congress it is good redundant. This Royal family from the days of grand fathers has betrayed India.
The family that betrayed Jhansi Bai won't be loyal to this nation. His personal interest is more than this nation.
It is only time will tell as he is going to take over Railway or Finance Minister that is soon going to announced before the bye-election for 24 seats.
I believe Subramaiah Swamy will be laughing his day.

The Scindia Royal family are technically traitors, refusing refuge to Rani Laxmi Bai and owing allegiance to the then British Empire. Why is it then that they are regarded so highly by the Indian voters?

The BJP-ruled Gwalior Municipal Corporation accuses former ruler Jayajirao Scindia of having “betrayed” Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi by providing her with a “weak horse”.

Rani (Queen) of Jhansi, Lakshmi Bai came to Gwalior when general Huroz of British army defeated Lakshmi Bai in Kalpi. Maharaja Scindia of Gwalior betrayed Lakshmi Bai. He gave her a weak horse. Sensing something fishy Lakshmi Bai decided to leave Gwalior. She laid down her life, while fighting British, on 18th June 1858.”

His sister then Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje of Rajasthan State BJP to omit a stanza from the poem Jhansi ki Rani by Subhdra Kumari Chauhan school text books. The poem reflects the bravery of Jhansi ki Rani, Laxmibai. The BJP is deliberately trying to overlook the fact that it was Jivaji Rao Scindia who chose to flee to Agra when Laxmibai reached Gwalior.

This history is once visible in Mahesh Vikram Hegde owned Postcard.com. Ever since he joined BJP, the Scindia became new 'Savarkar' to the party articles go missing.

How can BJP is disloyal to the Royal family who grandma is the founder member of the party?

    Good information.

A small correction: Huroz is incorrect. The correct spelling is Hugh Rose.

Hugh is pronounced 'hue' - like the word for colour.
